​Olamide Adedeji, popularly known by his stage name Olamide a.k.a Baddo, is one Nigerian artiste who has consistently taken mighty steps with the trends of different times since he came on the spotlight. Signed by ID Cabasa‘s Coded Tunes in 2011, the rapper released his debut studio album Rapsodi before releasing his follow-up album YBNL and launching his own label imprint YBNL Nation. Consistently, the talented artiste has gone on to release an album in every year with different editions of a concert tagged Olamide Live In Concert (OLIC). Aside his personal musical career, Baddo a.k.a King of the Streets has also invested in the careers of various talented artistes such as Lil Kesh, Chinko Tiger, Adekunle Gold, Viktoh, Davolee and most recently Lyta and Limerick.

To mark his 29th birthday, Olamide has announced the launch of an entertainment TV channel dubbed Voice Of The Streets (VOTS). According to the YBNL boss, “It’s been all joy ans blessings since I started my journey to being the man I dreamt to be. Though I had a lot of hurdles and setbacks, I kept moving because I was certain of what I had inside me. Today is another special day, marking the beginning of another special year in my life and I also have the privilege of owning a TV channel that would change the face of entertainment in Africa. As one of the first African entertainers to own a channel, I am giving out 100 decoders (PLAY TV) to the first 100 people to get to PLAY TV’s premises today. Each decoder comes with a fully paid one year subscription to say thank you for standing by me. Thank you for your love and support. We shall celebrate more greatness.

The rapper dedicated the TV channel to his late dad & mum and also his son Batifeori Maximiliano. He also dropped a new single titled C.Ronaldo, produced by ID Cabasa, to mark his birthday celebration.
