Talented Nigerian songstress, Sunkanmi delivers her debut music project; an extended playlist titled Body Language. This serves as her first output for the year 2021.
The project houses six tracks with no features.
Prior to the release, the singer dropped a video addressing her hiatus from the music scene to her fans. In the caption, she said, “I know you haven’t seen me around for a second. I’ve really been absent for a while now and it’s been eating my soul that I’ve not been able to provide for my fans as much as I’m supposed to. But trust me, in this journey, my career is nothing without you guys and I really hold you in high esteem. So many questions have been asked, so many assumptions have been made, but one thing that’s certain is the fact that I am coming back stronger to stay! I’ve not been sleeping, I have been piecing my art together bit by bit. And this art that I have been creating is so beautiful because this particular one is carved out of my heart. So here goes my heart – Body Language The EP.”
