To celebrate the legacy of the legendary singer Sound Sultan, respected A&R, songwriter, and singer Bankulli teams up with Canadian-Nigerian Afro-fusion singer Töme to release a project titled Journey Back Home.
The project pays homage to Sound Sultan‘s personality and far-reaching impact on the growth of Nigerian and African music. All proceeds gotten from it will be donated to the late singer’s estate.
All the records were produced by Legendury Beatz. Guitar strings on the project was done by Samuel Akerele, tenor saxophone by Abayomi Oyelade, trombone by Olufemi Akinbodunwa, piano by Femi Ojetunde & Yomi Omidiran, conga/trumpet & rotary flugelhorn by Victor Ademofe, and the 2nd piano solo by Emmanuel Uzozie.
