2022 has been really good for Young Jonn. The year witnessed his reintroduction to the Nigerian music industry as an artist, his signing deals to Chocolate City Music and Warner Bros Africa, and getting to #1 on the Nigerian Apple Music charts with his single Xtra Cool.
He keeps up the run with the release of the volume 2 of his effervescent extended playlist Love Is Not Enough. As consistent with the prior version and artist, the 6-track offering employs elements of Afrobeats, dance and R&B; serving a delightfully vibrant brand of Afropop. Pairing his arresting vocals with a breezy approach to songwriting, the artist born Udomboso John Saviours conjures catchy lines whilst blending homegrown melodies with infectious rhythms.
The EP plays host to awesome tracks resonant with thrilling instrumentals; from the energising rattles of the percussive Normally to the upbeat viral tune Xtra Cool to the remix of the Afrohouse-infuded Dada featuring Davido.
